All adult stuff was removed from this site and put to Sexysims2 when the site started using advertising, I think the BBQ was just removed because people were saying it was cruel in the comments and the creator got fed up of it!

I wasn't a sims fan back then so i didn't know what happened to OMGWTFBBQ in MTS. but i have theories
1. Mod got taken down because the idea of grilling a baby is disgusting
2. the person behind the download (idk who) deleted the mod
3. The person behind the download (idk who) got banned and so the OMGWTFBBQ download was deleted alongside it (idk if MTS keeps a person's creations after they got banned)

HOWEVER, these are just theories. I don't know what happened, so the theories may be false.

Well by that i meant in real life but in game idk what to say about it, im just happy it isn't THAT KIND of gruesome and cruel, if you know what i mean, i am just really curious what happens to Knut Futa when someone uses the OMGWTFBBQ to him?

Not really, babies with an adult body can animate.... sort of. If you grab a adult Sim and make them baby, the first thing you notice is that the adult-baby will be on the ground and doing the baby on ground animation.

But there are limitations; That's all they can do. They can't interact with adults and vice versa. They can't do ANYTHING, except being on the ground.

But this raised me a question. What happens when you leave an adult baby behind and neglected, and the social worker comes to get IT?

Because the OMGWTFBBQ is just so divisive!

Sorry to commit threadcromancy but... I finally tried it. After ages of procrastinations and distractions.... Spoiler alert; It does not work.

When i went to the specter's house and i spawned Knut Futa there after linking him and setting his age to "Baby" (with SimPE), I bought the OMGWTFBBQ grill. But unfortunately, i got errors when i tried to make Olive roast Knut. The closest thing you can do is set Knut's age to a higher age, in SimPE, and go to Sims 2, and use the Sim Modder (by shift + clicking a sim after you typed boolprop testingcheatsenabeld true, clicking spawn object, and search for the sim modder there.) to set his age to baby. This will change Knut's model and skeleton to a baby's. (Edit: Wait, you can't set a sim's age to baby with the sim modder! So ignore that sentence.)

Yes. The animations of infant are different, the skeleton has different.... I forgot the word, but it means Sims won't be able to do anything with adult-baby because it can't figure out where the animations connect (??). I can't explain well because I don't remember the words.

I had to do like a triple take on the title given the Sim's unfortunate... name. (If you know, you know.)

Even better was remembering both the mod mentioned and the guy himself. Like a hazy memory or a fever dream, I'd forgotten all about both things. Then it all beamed right into my brain all at once, Knut Futa snuggled up inside a grill.

You can't directly find him in the game. It will take some steps first. But you need to go to SimPE, then go to strangetown/N002 (the neighborhood he's in), and link his character (by going to his sim description, going to other and replacing the 1 in the unlinked value with 0.) and set his age to baby, also in SimPE, because he doesn't work without age data. I hope this helps!

I think it has more to do with the IK targets/containers/whatsits (haven't done animation in 10+ years, I can't remember all the terminology on a good day) in the IK rig between two skeletons, than just the plain skeleton.

You can see similar issues if you try to extract other animations where sims are meant to put their hand/leg/etc. on some part of another sim's body. You'll get a hand or arm that's doing somersaults, or the animation causes errors because it can't find the proper target (especially with babies - I think they likely have a "butt" target that the other sims don't have - you can kinda see it if you pick the baby out of a sim's hand, as they'll stick to other hands via their butt - older sims stick via their feet), and those particular "targets" likely don't translate the same way.

I'm guessing the animation looks for these particular targets via name, and if it can't find them, it causes an error or just won't go through.

I'd think because they are carried "by the butt", or are on their back (or butt, in the baby toy where they sit) most of the time, and spend no time on their feet. Babies really aren't in the arms of a sim when they're carried around - they're spesifically locked to a hand (older sims have targets in their hands, plus several other places - you can have a lot of fun in Buy mode with Moveobjects + the daffodil flower vase or something else small that sticks out a bit, to find all the various targets - they do have one on their head, too - likely for the Aspiration headwear, but a flowerpot is much more fun XD )

Older sims (even toddlers) walk/sit/move around a lot more, so they'd need other targets (probably more of them as well).

Yeah, moveobjects is pretty funny. You can make a Sim stand in a crib, on a swing, and more. And you can make a sim be inside a sim, but the Sim inside the other sim would disappear once you enter life mode unpaused. Some funny bugs, are when you make a Sim use the jump rope and move them. The rope doesn't move with the Sim, and the Sim using it, their hands are connected to the rope, so the sim's arms would stretch uncannily towards the rope.

Because it would be weird to carry a baby by a limb.
