Description
Simlogical's Flexi School is very useful, be it for making in-lot schools, homeschooling, or even just for Sims who are not meant to go to school. For those seeking, say, a challenge , this revamped version features grade drops as well as Wants and Memories fulfillment.

The school types themselves and the school workbook are actually separate features - the workbook can be used with regular schools for boosting grades or help generating homework-related Wants. Still, either school types will still need the workbook anyway, as there is no method to boost grade otherwise .

Flexi School
Found in either FlexiSchool.zip or HomeSchool.zip
  • Grade drop occurs every school day - Monday to Friday, at about 8:00.
  • Grade drops by 1 level a day: A- to B+ or C to C-.
  • Wants and Memories fulfillment occur every day, including Saturday and Sunday, at about 15:00.
  • Wants and Memories are fulfilled for both the students and their parents.
  • These include the A+ and Overachiever Wants and memories , as well as D Fear and memory .
The update hours, as well as days, can be customized using SimPE.

InTeenimator support is also available, but is disabled by default. To enable the support, find the BCON: AN IN-USE - InTeen Support and change the 0x0 line. Teens who have equal to or fewer days to adulthood than the value will no longer have their grades drop.


School Workbook
Found in SchoolWork.zip
  • Only the table-placed version has been modified
  • Fun drain depends on the serious personality.
  • 10 playful loses Fun fast while 0 playful loses Fun slowly.
  • Autonomy for doing the generated school work, based on mood
  • Students are more likely to do so to fulfill their Comfort if their mood is in the green.
  • Visitors can help out with the workbook, if they have been greeted.
  • Automated generation of workbooks
  • Each placemat can be assigned to one of the youths, and then have 2 selected hours to automatically generate a workbook for them.
  • Each placemat can also have 2 selected hours for calling the assigned youth to do the school work.
  • Settings can be reset or applied to other placemats, to facilitate mass usage.
  • "Call to Work" and "Clear Away" can be performed multiple workbooks at once.
  • Found in the "Mass Action..." menu, the interactions are then furthur separated into applying on books in the same room, same floor, or all on the lot.
  • Wants for homework and be taught to do homework can be rolled for any placemats present - enabled by the WantsSupport.package file.
The placemat has been recategorized as Hobbies -> Knowledge to better fit the rest of school objects.


Options
There are 2 versions of school types. Both are completely identical. Use the separate version as the more challenging compliment to the Simlogical's original version, as the latter does not have the grade drop function.


Issues
Teen Sims with jobs may not be able to go to work properly. They can be fixed by deleting them and then re-summon them with a cheat object. Even then, it is recommended to use the school type for children only.

Requirements
As a custom school type, you will need additional object or method to change a Sim's school, such as Simlogical's School Changer.


Conflicts
The replacement version uses Simlogical's Flexi School GUID, and therefore is intended to replace it.
The separate version's object GUID is 0xEC18D4D0.

Simlogical Homework Placemat and the workbook generated are intended to replace the originals.

Homework-related Wants edit (0x7F739728) is a single BHAV: 0x00001158
