Description
Coffees and chocolates are free to make, and once you paid for their makers, you have access to free food and bed skipping, with only toilet visits the price. This mod was made to compliment my Food-like Coffees and Hot Chocolates, injecting balance into the favorite drinks of many by making them costly to fill on residential lots, and costly to take on community lots.

There are more changes to coffee & chocolate makers than reasonably charging for the pricey coffee and chocolate powder, and its ingredients - the machines can now be placed and used on dining and end tables, they start out filled and never need refill outside of residential lots, and they can be refilled and checked for remaining cups on residential lots.

  • Maxis coffee and chocolate makers cost money to fill on residential lots, or take outside residential lots.
  • On residential lots, the machines can be refilled while not emptied, and indicate how many cups are left.
  • Outside residential lots, the machines are already filled and need no refill.

  • Maxis coffee and chocolate makers can be placed and used on dining and end tables, no longer restricted to only counters.
  • Children can make and refill chocolate makers.
  • Business owners get a cut of profit whenever a customer takes a cup from the machine.
  • Upgrading the Wholesale perk will increase the profit margin, and reduce the costs for owners and employees.
Outside from the changes listed above, there is a few customizations that can be made, such as the cost for ingredients, the sale cost, and if allowing expiration.


Issues
Only Maxis coffee and chocolate makers are affected. CC machines do not use Semi-Global functions and will have to be edited on individual basis.

Taking a cup from a machine on dining or end table will show Sims pouring the kettle below the cup. This is purely visual limitation and has no effect on the gameplay.
