Update: Added some more patches

I made a mod called "Doctors Need Degrees" because real-life doctors (the medical kind or otherwise) need university degrees. But they don't just have the kind of degree you get in Sims 2 University - they have a Doctorate.

This allows your sims to (a) get a doctorate, either an MD (for medicine) or PhD (for research), complete with degree certificate to hang on the wall, (b) get a memory for that achievement, for both themselves and their family, and (c) the game will display their name with "Dr" whenever their full name shows up, without adding the title into their first name.

As of the update, you can also get Master's degrees (which don't come with a title), either in whatever the sim majored in at University, or in a custom subject.

How do I use it?
Buy the "Globe of Advanced Degrees" from Misc./Misc. for $100. Click on it to award an MD, PhD and/or Master's degree to anyone on the lot who has a university degree.

If the selected sim already has a doctorate, options will appear to stop using their title (if they are currently using it) or start using their title (if they are currently not using it).

There's a PhD title?
When you award a sim a PhD, you are prompted to enter the title of their PhD thesis (and a description, but that sadly gets lost). When you later view that sim's degree certificate, it will tell you their PhD thesis title.

What about for a Master's degree?
You will be asked whether you want the degree to be in your university major or a custom subject.

If you choose the custom subject, you will be prompted to enter it. Either way, your choice will appear in the text when you view the degree certificate.

What do I download?
You need "KittyCarey-DegreesForDoctors" and "KittyCarey_easyTokenCheck" (assuming you don't already have this from another of my mods). "Conflict Patches" is only needed if you have a conflict, and you should only use at most one patch from each folder.

Modified Code:

Otherwise conflicts are probably not compatible, however many conflicts are fairly easy to patch. So if there's something else, point me to the code for the other mod and I will do my best to add to the patch collection.

Thanks, as always, to the makers of SimPE without which I could never do anything.
