The architectural term "Colonial" refers not to common design characteristics but to the period of time between the early 1600s and 1850. European settlers from several nations were establishing new colonies in what would later become the United States, bringing their traditional house building ideas and techniques and adapting them to their new landscapes.

There are many styles of colonial architecture such as Georgian Colonial, Southern Colonial, French Colonial, German, Dutch, Spanish, the Saltbox Colonial build in the early 1600s are the oldest of the New England homes and were virtually unchanged for the next 100 years. In the 1800s Colonial Revival, Neo Colonial combine an assortment of historic styles within their houses architecture, adding many features.

The seventeeth century into the nineteenth for most modest dwelling, was of one story or a story and a half; with dormer windows lighting rooms in the roof and chimney at either end. Until this day Colonial style homes can be seen across the United States and have never completely gone out of fashion.

I present to you " Colonial Classical Charm" This house I build more on the Colonial Revival style with a "Special floor plan", stairs that surrounds the very center of the house leading up or down into each room.

Note: Objects are deliberately place on two ends of the center stairs to force the sims to use the stairs, otherwise sims can be lazy ( lol ) and walk around them.
