Having fallen for the beauty of the first film, I decided to give the original games a try. I have to say I wish I had discovered them sooner. But anyway, I wanted to recreate/create a house inspired by the Gillespie House, home to Dhalia and Alessa Gillespie.
The trouble was, I didn't like the interior layout that the house has in the game, as seen here. So I went for something more historically accurate considering that the Gillespie House was inspired by a real house; the Olson House in Maine.
And so I thought that I might combine the two, and create a historical New England home with a Silent Hill feel to it.
I'm quite pleased with the outcome and intend to remodel it into a recreation of the Olson home later on this year.
Lot Info:
The Gillespie house is built on a 30 by 30 lot costing 118,093 Simoleons furnished and 77,338 Simoleons unfurnished. The house has 6 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and an outhouse. There's also a shed in the garden and a cellar accessed by a ladder in a kitchen cupboard.
I'd like to thank SimmyRN, Johnny Bravo, lulume, cutsocks, klaartje68 and Tigerhydr over at CFF for helping me with feedback on this lot.
I intend on uploading more pictures of the lot in the comments section, so be sure to check there.

2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

About Me
Well, what can i say, I enjoy playing Sims. Please feel free to use and enjoy my creations, all i ask in return is that you do not re-upload them to other sites claiming them as your own. Thank You. I greatly appreciate feedback and hope that my lots are to your liking.
P.S. It would be very interesting to see pics of what you've done with the lots I have created, and the kinds of sims you've got living there, Or if they've been used in stories. But most importantly... Have Fun!!!
