The forty-second house in my "1920s Series" - inspired by 62 Beautiful Vintage Home Designs from the 1920s - is a very nice, high quality, single story Brick Bungalow. It features two bedrooms, one bathroom, a sun room, living and dining rooms, upgraded kitchen, a huge full basement, front porch, bricked patio in the back yard, and a large "workshop garage." For some reason, this house really reminds me of my Great Aunt Rose's house in Billings, Montana. I think it may be mostly the brick - but her house was long, too, like this one. (Though, her basement was small, dank and icky! Not at ALL like this one!) Anyway, I decorated this house with a higher grade of wall coverings than usual - and in a soft green palette (as Aunt Rose's house was.) I hope your sims will find it restful and enjoy living here.

This house is built exactly as the original architect intended. So, a cautionary note about the little "hall": it is a 2T hall with 4 doors opening into it... I can easily see stuck sims stomping here as they try to get to the bathroom or to their bedrooms. I would not play this house as it is with a large family. Remember, if your sim gets stuck, switch over to build mode and pick them up. Then put them down in the next room. They won't even know they had a problem. LOL!

Please scroll through all the above pictures to see everything this house has to offer. Furniture includes a double bed, two nightstands (one with an alarm clock), a loveseat, chaise, bookcase, and a dining set. All appliances, plumbing and lighting are included. The telephone is located in the dining room, as the original plans have it. The front door is burglar alarmed. The range and fireplace have smoke alarms.

This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer. Pictures were taken with Invisible Fire Alarms in place, but the lot is packaged without that mod. So, you will see the fire alarm over the range in the kitchen and over the fireplace in the living room.

There is parking for 3 vehicles. One in the garage, and two on the driveway. (The nice dining room, upgraded kitchen, and bar suggest that these sims like to entertain!)

CC list - used but NOT included - so, GO get it:
- Unlevel Wall - #90 by Numenor @ MTS2 - used to fix wonky wall issues. Some people weren't sure how to install this wall... Click the info button down below to see how I did it
- Lifestyle Build Bundle - It's the second link in the top post - extracted from Lifestyle Stories by Argon @ MATY. Many of the wallpapers used in this 1920s series come from this bundle.
- Whitewood REC of SSN Flowerboxes by Michelle @ MTS2
- Nook Folly MASTER by Buggy Booz
- You also need BB_NICHE-LinaBrickWallSet04-pikkon2012 a REC by pikkonsimming. But, the link isn't working right now. So, I'm including this recolor as an extra file to DL - without it the BB Niche's items (front porch) will flash blue.

...and I highly recommend getting:
- Invisible Smoke Alarm by pfish @ MTS2

Custom Content Included:
- DeckStairs_main by Numenor @ MTS2 - no script file needed as these override the original stairs.
- Deck Stairs REC - Washed White by HugeLunatic (HL) @ MTS2
- Niche_Extra_EncasementV3 by Buggy Booz @ SFS
- Mauritania Double Arch 3T by Leesester/LeeFish @ MTS2

Standard mods I use that are not necessary nor included - but were probably used whilst building/photo-ing/prepping this house for upload...
If you need help installing Numenor's Unlevel Wall #90, click this info button:

I use Niol/Moi's Roof Shader for brighter roofs
And, HW/Honeywell's A Little Greyer: Roof Trim Defaults
Then, if it's a Bespoke Roof recolor - it will be THESE adjusted versions by The Llama Park/Tumblr that you see used in the pictures.
(However, what you get in the packaged file, will either be the plain EA roof or the straight, un-modified Bespoke roof from the set here on MTS2.)
Maranatah's White Wall Top texture replacement
Moo's Turn On/Off Lights
Menaceman's Lunatech Lighting Fix
BeosBoxBoy's no-red-pause-mod
Nopke's Go Under Spiral Stairs mod for proper spiral stair usage
And, of course, everyone needs Numenor's CEP and SEP!
I also use FRAPs to take in-game pictures, and PhotoShop to clean/collage said pictures.
And, I highly recommend using gummilutt's Invisible Medicine Cabinet to add features to any mirror - as per her policy, it's not used or included in this lot.

Lot Size: 2x3
Lot Price (furnished): $49,910
