During the construction, I try to give my all to turn this adobe structure into something pretty and livable.

The inspiration was eco-technocracy. The build arose organically, shapeshifting during the construction. New areas bloomed one by one like flowers in the spring. The interiors are very modern and full of foliage. The download catalog on MTS is lacking in modern builds, so I wanted to give my contribution.

The color scheme for the exteriors of this building was gray brutalist, raw concrete that complements the original adobe walls and aqueduct columns. To break things up, high-quality artificial grass was laid in some areas, and colorful windows were placed.

The color palette for the main floor was yellows, teals, and greenery. For the bedrooms’ floor, I chose powerful magenta, which is very in right now, and tropical greens to give some spaces an oasis feel.

Kids bedrooms are not huge, but they are certainly cute and give off dollhouse vibes. The bed with the wardrobe under it is fully usable (the lot was playtested).

You are entering the master bedroom through the master bath, which is unusual and quite exciting in my opinion. It embraces the narrow shape of the house in the best way. Of course, you still have some privacy thanks to the separate toilet room.

The shell is very masculine, but the interiors, especially the 2nd level, are quite feminine, so the house can appeal to everybody.

For the basement, the colors were drawn from the bottom of the ocean.

The building is meticulously lit and looks really alive at night.

From the house, you can manage your own business in the form of an underground gallery. From the first glance you can see the rising monument of a house, but you can go a few steps down by one of two staircases, and you’re in a comfortable high-end art gallery.

The house is really focusing on Sim's needs. They have so many things to do that they can never leave. 😉 Sims can play football on the rooftop and spend time in a garden - set up for a wedding at this time to show its full potential. Furthermore, they can create paintings and look at the stars using a telescope on the highest level. Kids have many toys spread out through the house that they can play with. Sims can go swimming or look at the marine life in the aquarium room. Future buyers will possess a handy and up-to-date kitchen to create meals. A huge TV in the living room will provide an everyday Netflix and chill experience.

During the construction, it turns out that the pool was not salvageable. It was leaking and making the ground on which the aqueduct is standing not stable enough to support the columns. It was Sophie’s choice, but we have to say goodbye to the original pool. The basin was dried out, and a beautiful aquarium room was placed there. In the aquarium we save marine life that has undergone an accident or illness.

The new pool was placed in a more suitable area, away from the delicate aqueduct columns.

This situation had its pros, because I could join together the two aboveground disconnected structures and make the build more cohesive and attractive to future buyers. Square footage expanded, and we could create beautiful open spaces where Sim can make memories.

My intention was not to make the judges mad. It was to make Sims happy.

There should be a balance between preservation and habitation. Of course, preserve as much as you can, but still make the place livable and enjoyable. If no one would like to live in this house, it would collapse, and the adobe walls and aqueduct would turn to dust.
