This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
UPDATE JUNE 9 2020: EA's latest game-busting patch broke the custom sound on this bike. Will see if it's possible to fix, if not, will replace the current version with a non-sound version and update the description.

Coming briefly out of Sims 4 retirement because University finally added two of my fave things - vehicles and robots.

Here is a clone of the new bicycle, to look like a motorcycle. I used the 'The Beast' motorcycle from The Sims 3, having already converted it as a chair back in the early days of TS4, which is also uploaded here. When University came out, a member here asked me if I could make the chair-motorcycle into a rideable one, and that was something I definitely wanted to do!

It comes in the same 11 recolours as the chair version uploaded here: Silver, Black, Red, Red-Black Flamepaint, Blue-Orange Flamepaint, Rust Flamepaint, Green, Army Green, the Bug/Monster (I'm not sure what it was supposed to be!) graphic from the TS3 motorbike, a Skull and Crossbones graphic of my own design, and a really lurid Multicolour graphic for your more flamboyant sims. (Also, a top-down view of the Bug and Skull models.)

Although not perfect, since it's made from a bicycle and the animations, rigging and sound are not perfect for a motorbike, I tried to do the best I could with adjusting the rig and removing the pedalling animations. The sims sit in a suitable motorcycle-riding position and although their legs twitch a little as a leftover from the pedalling animations, it's not really noticeable in gameplay. You can just think of them as being a little nervous about riding a motorbike.

I made considerable modifications to the Beast mesh, scaling it down to fit the bicycle dimensions and rig so that there would be as little body stretching or contortions as possible. The original high apehanger handlebars were too problematic so I replaced them with the bicycle's handlebars for a less awkward look. All things considered, it looks cute in game.

An item like this is of course not without a few issues:

1) The wheels don't turn. I tried to make turning wheels, but they just flew around the bike in a circular motion instead of staying where they were supposed to be. I had the same problem in TS3 and don't know how to make it work. So I gave the bikes plain solid cast wheels instead of spoked, so that their not turning is not so noticeable.
2) There is something odd going on with the bicycle object in that the tail light red glowing effect is not moveable or deletable. Myself and a couple of modders went over and over this together and could not get the darned thing to budge on either this or their own vehicles. So it's stuck in the wrong position. If anyone reading this knows how, I'd sincerely appreciate it.
3) I've included an optional separate custom sound file which adds a Harley-like engine sound to the bike. I made this optional because, again along with a couple of other modders, we could not figure out how to make it operate for just the one object. Instead, it operates as an override. Apparently this is because the bicycle sounds are included in a Walkstyle and those are difficult if not impossible to work with. Again, if anyone knows different, please let me know. But as it is, ONLY use the optional sound file if you don't mind having all your bicycles also sound like Harleys. I don't mind because I find it pretty amusing! But if you don't want that to happen, then just install the motorbike package and not the sound package.
3b) Also, the custom sound only sits on top of the bicycle chain noise and doesn't cancel it out, so your bike will sound like it has a noisy drive chain!

Here's a short clip of it in game so you can decide whether it's something you want to use or not. Bella goes for a ride during the day, and then at night, my Mr Skeleto sim, being the skinniest guy I could use as a model, shows clearly where the unmovable red tail light effect appears, right under the sim's backside. With regular sims wearing clothes, then depending on how bulky the clothes are, the light effect will be less noticeable. I guess you'll have to think of your sims as having had a hot curry or chili before going for their nighttime bike ride...

If you have University, the bike is found under Transportation in Build/Buy mode, and costs 1200 simoleons.

The motorbike actually also works in just Base Game, if you are patched up to date. In that case, it will be found under Outdoor Activities.
And, instead of equipping a bicycle helmet by default, the sim will equip a random hat from among whatever hats you have, including custom ones. I tried it out on my laptop on which I have only Base Game and no No Bicycle Helmet mod, and got a pretty funny selection of hats amongst my Deus Ex household. Interesting that one sim didn't equip a hat, who was the only female member of the household, I guess showing that gals are more brave! UPDATE Please note: I've received conflicting reports from other players as to whether this item works without Discover University for them or not. Works fine for me with just the base game, but some players who don't have Discover University have reported it not showing up in the catalogue. I have no idea why this is, maybe something to do with what other packs you have installed, but just be warned. If all else fails, I'm afraid you'll need to get the University pack.

Thanks for looking, hope you'll find this a bit of fun.

If you need a No Bicycle Helmets mod, I use the one by Scarlet, here:

Unzip the motorcycle's zip file and move the .package file to your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder. And only if you don't mind ALL your bicycles and/or bicycle clones sounding like Harleys, also install the optional custom sound package.

A BIG THANK YOU to MizoreYukii for all the brainstorming on trying to get rid of the tail light FX, and to Sigma1202 for teaching me how to add a custom sound! Very grateful to both of you.
